Timeless Lessons of the Book of Judges
Join us for this weekly study of the text of the Book of Judges in depth. The Book of Judges contains some of the most dramatic and famous stories in the entire Tanakh (Hebrew Bible). Learn about Ehud ben Gera, Samson and Delilah, Gideon, Yiftah and many other exciting and complex personalities and historic episodes in these interactive Torah sessions. This Shiur, delivered by Rabbi Maroof, will be focused on analytic study of the sections of SHAS and the SHULCHAN ARUKH that are typically mastered by candidates for semikha. It is perfect for anyone who is currently in a semikha program or who has already received semikha and would like to review the material in greater depth. It is also appropriate for advanced students of halakha with an interest in exploring this challenging and complex subject.
